REGIONAL COOPERATION AND COLLABORATION.
It was under this premise that the Bay Area, Midland Area and Saginaw County Chambers of Commerce, along with Bay Future, Midland Tomorrow and Saginaw Future Inc., formed a regional alliance.
In 2011, Isabella County brought its many assets and connections to the regional alliance, making it a four-county collaboration.
The members of the Alliance have worked together to build on the regional strengths critical to both individual and collective futures.

The mission of the Alliance is to champion and support regional collaboration and initiatives that grow the Great Lakes Bay Region.

PROGRAMS
INSTITUTE FOR LEADERS
Our region can only be strengthened through the leadership of individuals who are knowledgeable, informed, and ready to advocate and bring resources to the table. The Institute for Leaders curriculum expands participants’ knowledge of the Great Lakes Bay Region and introduces powerful, successful scenarios and concepts from other regions or at the state level.
REGIONAL AMBASSADORS
Regional Ambassadors are spokespersons for the region. These leaders help create awareness of products, services and lifestyle opportunities of the region and promote interest and desire in businesses. They focus on enhancing economic growth and quality of life throughout the region.
