Great Lakes Bay Mental Health Partnership

With unanimous support of the Great Lakes Bay Regional Alliance Board of Directors, the Great Lakes Bay Mental Health Partnership began in 2018 when it was agreed upon that there is a mental health crisis in our Region. A key driver and funder of this initiative is the family and friends of Chad William Dunn, who as a result of mental illness, died by suicide on July 29, 2013. The initiatives’ key supporters also include Central Michigan University College of Medicine, University of Michigan Depression Center, and The Dow Chemical Company Foundation.

 

REGIONAL “MAMMA MIA!” COLLABORATION

The Great Lakes Bay Regional Alliance announced today that will present a regional community theatre production of the hit Broadway musical Mamma Mia! in September 2019. The production will be an opportunity for unprecedented cooperation among Midland Center for the Arts’ Center Stage Theatre, Pit & Balcony Theatre, and Bay City Players.
